Trim levels
The Cadillac OPTIQ arrives in Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, and Premium Sport trim levels. Luxury models feature 20-inch wheels, LED exterior lighting, illuminated power-extending door handles, and a power tailgate. The Sport trim adopts a more aggressive appearance with unique styling elements and darker exterior accents. Premium Luxury upgrades bring ventilated front seats, upgraded headlights and taillights, interior ambient lighting, a head-up display, a 360-degree camera system, and front-seat memory settings. Premium Sport combines the performance-focused aesthetic of the Sport trim with the enhanced equipment of the Premium Luxury. The range-topping Cadillac OPTIQ V-Series brings serious performance credentials with a unique front fascia design featuring V-pattern mesh in the lower grille, a high gloss black front splitter, rocker extensions, body-coloured lower trim, V-Series badging on the rear doors and liftgate, and 21-inch satin graphite alloy wheels with laser-etched V-Series badges. An available carbon fibre package adds a carbon fibre front splitter, rear diffuser, and rear mid-spoiler.
Performance
Three powertrain configurations are available for 2026. The base setup uses a single electric motor on the rear axle, producing 315 horsepower and 332 lb.-ft. of torque. This rear-wheel-drive configuration delivers up to 510 kilometres of range from its 85-kilowatt-hour battery pack. Dual-motor all-wheel-drive models receive a substantial power boost to 440 horsepower and 498 lb.-ft. of torque. Range drops slightly to approximately 450 kilometres with the added traction and performance. The Cadillac OPTIQ V-Series tops the lineup with 519 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque from its dual-motor setup. Engage Velocity Max mode and the OPTIQ-V reaches 96 km/h from a standstill in just 3.5 seconds. The range for the V model sits at approximately 443 kilometres. All variants support DC fast charging at 150 kilowatts, adding up to 122 kilometres in about 10 minutes. Home charging uses an 11.5-kilowatt Level 2 module as standard equipment. The Cadillac OPTIQ-V becomes the first GM vehicle to feature a native NACS charging port, providing direct access to Tesla Supercharger stations without requiring an adapter. Regenerative braking with One-Pedal Driving functionality helps recover energy during deceleration.
Features & Technology
If you’ve been paying attention to Cadillac’s electric models recently, you won’t be surprised that a 33-inch curved LED display dominates the Cadillac OPTIQ dashboard. Every Cadillac OPTIQ includes a 19-speaker AKG Studio audio system with Dolby Atmos capability. The cabin was specifically engineered for compatibility with Dolby Atmos technology to maximize sound quality. Standard equipment includes leatherette upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless smartphone charging, four USB-C ports, and a digital rearview mirror. Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance comes standard across the entire lineup with a three-year trial included. The system now integrates with Google Maps navigation to automatically move to the correct lane on Super Cruise-capable roads. It keeps you centred in lane during hands-on driving, and adaptive cruise control automatically adjusts to new speed limits. Premium trims add ventilated front seats, a head-up display, driver's seat memory settings, an air quality sensor, and enhanced Vision Enhanced Parking with improved camera and radar systems. The Cadillac OPTIQ-V features woven carbon fibre interior accents, two exclusive interior colourways, a V-Mode button on the steering wheel for instant access to performance settings, including Competitive Mode, Launch Control for consistent straight-line acceleration, adaptive suspension that adjusts to driving conditions, Brembo brakes for superior stopping power, and a tighter steering ratio.
